وروى النسائي في الخصايص عن الحسين بن حريث المروزي قال: أخبرنا الفضل بن موسى عن الاعمش "سليمان" عن أبي إسحاق ‏‏"عمرو" عن سعيد قال: قال علي كرم الله وجهه في الرحبة: انشد بالله من سمع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يوم غدير خم يقول: إن ‏الله ورسوله ولي المؤمنين، ومن كنت وليه فهذا وليه، أللهم وال من والاه، وعاد من عاداه، وانصر من نصره. قال: فقال سعيد: قام إلى ‏جنبي ستة، وقال زيد بن يثيع: قام عندي ستة، وقال عمرو ذي مر: أحب من أحبه، وأبغض من أبغضه. وساق الحديث، رواه إسرائيل ‏عن إسحاق عن عمرو ذي مر.‏
