He related it on page 80, volume 4 of his book “Al-Isabah” as follows: “ Abu Musa said: In his book “ al-Muwalat”, Abu al-`Abbas Ibn `Uqdah related it from 'Asbagh b. Nubatah through`Ali b. al-Hasan al-`Abdi and Sa`d al-'Iskaf as follow: ‘Ali implored the people gathering at al-Ruhba to stand up and bear witness that they heard the Messenger of Allah [s] saying what he had to say on the day of Ghadir Khumm. Over ten people stood up -among them is Abu Ayyub and Abu Zaynab b. `Awf – and said: ‘We bear witness that we heard the Messenger of Allah saying on the day of Ghadir Khumm, while holding your hand and lifting it up: ‘Do you not bear witness that I conveyed the message?’ ‘We do’, they replied. He continued: ‘Then, to whoever I am his master, ‘Ali is his master.”
