روى في تفسيره 2 ص 14 من طريق إبن مردويه عن أبي سعيد الخدري وأبي هريرة أنهما قالا: إن الآية نزلت يوم غدير خم في علي.‏


On page 14 of volume 2 of his exegesis the author related from Abu Sa`id al-Khudri and Abu Hurayra, through Ibn Mardawayh their saying: ‘The verse (ayah) was sent down on Ghadir Khumm Day in regards to 'Ali.’
