وروى الحافظ العاصمي في زين الفتى في شرح سورة هل أتى عن محمد بن أبي زكريا عن‎ ‎أبي الحسن محمد بن أبي إسماعيل العلوي عن ‏محمد بن عمر البزاز عن عبدالله بن زياد المقبري عن أبيه عن حفص بن عمر العمري عن غياث بن إبراهيم عن طلحة بن يحيى عن عمه ‏عيسى عن طلحة بن عبيدالله إن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: من كنت مولاه فعلي مولاه.‏
