قال الحافظ محب الدين الطبري بعد رواية رباح والبراء: وعن زيد بن أرقم مثله. خرجهما [خرجه] أحمد في مسنده. وخرج الاول ابن ‏السمان، وخرج أحمد في كتاب المناقب معناه عن عمر وزاد بعد قوله وعاد من عاداه وانصر من نصره: وأحب من أحبه. قال شعبة أو ‏قال: أبغض من أبغضه. وخرج ابن السمان عن عمر منه: من كنت مولاه فعلي مولاه. وخرجه المخلص الذهبي عن حبشي بن جنادة ‏وقال بعد وانصر من نصره، وأعن من أعانه. ولم يذكر ما بعده.‏
