حدثنا أبومسعود، ثنا عاصم بن مهجع، ثنا يونس بن أرقم، عن الاعمش، عن أبي ليلى الحضرمي عن زيد بن أرقم قال: خرج علينا ‏رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ألست أولى بكم من أنفسكم؟ قالوا: بلى. فقال: من كنت مولاه فعلي مولاه.‏
