وروى النسائي في الخصايص قال: أخبرنا علي بن محمد إبن علي قال: حدثنا خلف بن تميم، قال: حدثنا إسرائيل حدثنا أبو إسحاق ‏عن عمرو ذي مرة قال شهدت عليا بالرحبة ينشد أصحاب محمد أيكم سمع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول يوم غدير خم ما ‏قال. فقام اناس فشهدوا أنهم سمعوا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: من كنت مولاه فعلي مولاه، أللهم وال من والاه، وعاد من ‏عاداه، وأحب من أحبه، وابغض من أبغضه، وانصر من نصره.‏
