وقال : أما حديث الطير فله طرق كثيرة جدا قد أفردتها بمصنف ومجموعها يوجب أن يكون الحديث له أصل ، وأما حديث : من كنت ‏مولاه . فله طرق جيدة وقد أفردت ذلك ايضا.‏



He (al-Dhahabi) also wrote: And as for the “Bird” tradition (hadith al-tayr), it has numerous chains of transmission for which I have devoted a book. Collectively, these indicate that the tradition must have an origin. And as for the tradition ‘To whomever I am a master', it has a good deal of chains of transmission, to which I devoted another book.
