وألطف طريق وقع لهذا الحديث " يعني حديث الغدير " وأغربه ما حدثنا به شيخنا خاتمة الحفاظ أبوبكر محمد بن عبدالله بن المحب المقدسي مشافهة ، أخبرتنا الشيخة ام محمد زينب إبنة أحمد بن عبدالرحيم المقدسية ، عن أبي المظفر محمد بن فتيان بن المثنى ، أخبرنا أبوموسى محمد بن أبي بكر الحافظ ، أخبرنا إبن عمة والدي القاضي أبوالقاسم عبدالواحد بن محمد بن عبدالواحد المدني بقرائتي عليه ، أخبرنا ظفر بن داعي العلوي باستراباد ، أخبرنا والدى وأبوأحمد إبن مطرف المطرفي قالا : حدثنا أبوسعيد الادريسي : أجازة فيما أخرجه في تاريخ أستراباد ، حدثني محمد بن محمد بن الحسن أبوالعباس الرشيدي من ولد هرون الرشيد بسمرقند وما كتبناه إلا عنه ، حدثنا أبوالحسن محمد بن جعفر الحلوانى ، حدثنا علي بن محمد بن جعفر الاهوازي مولى الرشيد ، حدثنا بكر بن أحمد القصري ، حدثتنا فاطمة وزينب وام كلثوم بنات موسى بن جعفر ( ع ) قلن حدثتنا فاطمة بنت جعفر بن محمد الصادق حدثتني فاطمة بنت محمد بن علي ، حدثتني فاطمة بنت على بن الحسين . حدثتني فاطمة وسكينة إبنتا الحسين بن علي عن ام كلثوم بنت فاطمة بنت النبي عن فاطمة بنت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ورضي عنها قالت : أنسيتم قول رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يوم غدير خم ، من كنت مولاه فعلي مولاه ؟ وقوله صلى الله عليه وسلم : أنت مني بمنزلة هارون من موسى عليهما السلام ؟ وهكذا أخرجه الحافظ الكبير أبوموسى المديني في كتابه المسلسل بالاسماء وقال : هذا الحديث مسلسل من وجه وهو إن كل واحدة من الفواطم تروي عن عمة لها فهو رواية خمس بنات أخ كل واحدة منهن عن عمتها.

This <adيth i.e. the <adيth of Ghadيr, has been reported by way of a most elegant and unusual route. Our Shaykh, the seal of <uffل~ (memorizers of <adيth) Abْ Bakr Mu<ammad b. `Abdallلh b. al-Mu<ibb al-Maqdasي narrated it to us orally, that al-Shaykha Umm Mu<ammad Zaynab bint A<mad b. `Abd al-Ra<يm al-Maqdasiya informed us from Abي al-Mu~affar Mu<ammad b. Fityلn b. al-Muthannل that Abْ Mْsل Mu<ammad b. Abي Bakr al-\لfi~ informed us that my father’s paternal aunt’s son al-Qل_ي Abْ al-Qلsim `Abd al-Wل<id b. Mu<ammad b. `Abd al-Wل<id al-Madanي informed us by making me recite it to him, that Zafar b. Dل`ي al-`Alawي in Astarلbلd informed us that my father and Abْ A<mad b. Ma>raf al-Ma>rafي informed us: the two of them said that Abْ Sa`يd al-Idrيsي narrated to us: in (giving us) permission (ijلzah) for what he had discovered of the history of Astarلbلd, that Mu<ammad b. Mu<ammad b. al-\asan Abْ al-`Abbلs al-Rashيdي a descendant of Hلrْn al-Rashيd in Samarqand narrated to me and we have not written it but from him, that Abْ al-\asan Mu<ammad b. Ja`far al-\alwلnي narrated to us, that `Alي b. Mu<ammad b. Ja`far al-Ahwلzي, the freedman (mawlل) of al-Rلshid, narrated to us that Bakr b. A<mad al-Qa#rي narrated to us that Fل>ima and Zaynab and Umm Kulthْm the daughters of Mْsل b. Ja`far (a.s) narrated to us; they said: Fل>ima bt. Ja`far b. Mu<ammad al-@لdiq narrated to us that Fل>ima bt. Mu<ammad b. `Alي narrated to me, that Fل>ima bt. `Alي b. al-\usayn narrated to me, that Fل>ima and Sakيna the daughters of al-\usayn b. `Alي narrated to me from Umm Kulthْm bt. Fل>ima the daughter of the Prophet, from Fل>ima the daughter of the Messenger of Allلh, blessings and salutations of Allلh on him, and may Allah be pleased with her, who said:
"Have you forgotten the statement of the Messenger of Allah, blessings and salutations of Allah on him, on the day of Ghadيr Khumm: ‘Of whomsoever I am master, `Alي is his master?’ And his statement, blessings and salutations of Allلh on him: Your station in relation to me is that of Hلrْn’s in relation to Mْsل, peace be upon them both?’"
It has been mentioned thus by al-\لfi~ al-Kabيr Abْ Mْsل al-Madيnي in his book with the chain of names and he says: This <adيth is a continuous one in one respect which is that each of the Fل>ima's has related it from her paternal aunt, so it is a narration of five paternal nieces each one of them narrating from her paternal aunt.
