Al-Nasa’i related it also from `Amr Dhu Murrah through Isra’il and Abu Ishaq, as follows: ‘Ali adjured people gathering at al-Ruhba; some people stood up and bore witness that they heard the Messenger of Allah say on the day of Ghadir Khumm: ‘To whoever I am his master, ‘Ali is a master; O’ Allah, befriend the one who befriends him and be at enmity with one who is at enmity with him; love those who love him and hate those who hate him and defend those who defend him.’ Ibn Jarir related it from ‘Ali through Ahmad b. Mansur, ‘Abd al-Razzaq, Isra’il, Abu Ishaq, Zayd b. Wahab and ‘Abd Khair. Ibn Jarir (also) related it similarly from Zayd b. Wahab and Zayd b. Yuthay’ through Ahmad b. Mansur, `Ubayd Allah b. Musa - who is a trusted Shia, Fitr b. Khalifah and Abu Ishaq.
