هذا حديث صحيح مشهور ، ولم يتكلم في صحته إلا متعصب جاحد لا اعتبار بقوله ، فإن الحديث كثير الطرق جدا ، وقد استوعبها إبن ‏عقدة في كتاب مفرد ، وقد نص الذهبي على كثير من طرقه بالصحة ، ورواه من الصحابة عدد كثير.‏
