قلت : لم يجاوز المؤلف ( أبوالحجاج المزي المتوفى 742 ) ما ذكر إبن عبدالبر وفيه مقنع ولكنه ذكر حديث الموالاة عن نفر سماهم فقط ‏، وقد جمعه إبن جرير الطبري في مؤلف فيه أضعاف من ذكر ، وصححه وإعتنى بجمع طرقه أبوالعباس إبن عقدة ، فأخرجه من حديث ‏سبعين صحابيا أو أكثر.‏
