أبوعبدالله محمد بن عبدالباقي بن يوسف الزرقاني المصري المالكي المولود بمصر 1055 والمتوفى 1122 ، خاتمة المحدثين بالديار المصرية ‏مشارك في العلوم ، ترجمه المرادي في سلك الدرر ج 4 ص 32 وذكر مشايخه وتآليفه القيمة كشرح المواهب اللدنية ( ط بولاق 8 ج ) ‏وشرح الموطأ ( ط مصر 4 ج ) ويثني عليه الچلبي في كشف الظنون بالمولى العلامة خاتمة المحدثين. ‏
