أبوهريرة محمد بن أيوب الواسطي ، قال أبوحاتم : صالح ، كذا ذكره الخزرجي ، وبالصلاح ترجمه إبن حجر في التقريب ، وقال في تهذيبه ‏ج 9 ص 69 : ذكره ابن حبان في الثقات وقال إبن أبي حاتم : كتب عنه أبي سنة 214 ، وصحح حديثه الحاكم في المستدرك ج 3 ص ‏‏109. ‏
