[Khulasat Tadhhib Tahdhib al-Kamal, al-Khazraji, Safi al-Din Ahmad b. `Abd Allah, Cairo: al-Matba`ah al-Khayriyyah, 1322/1904, p. 320 ] [Yahya b. Sa`id] al-Qattan said about him: I have not seen anyone like him, he was the one of the most trustworthy of all people. Shu`bah said: He was nicknamed 'Mushaf' due to his mastery [over knowledge]. Ahmad [b. Hanbal] , Abu Zur`ah [al-Razi] and al-`Ijli have considered him reliable. [Tadhkirat al-huffaz, al-Dhahabi, Shams al-Din Muhammad b. Ahmad b. `Uthman, Abu `Abd Allah, Haydarabad: Da'irat al-ma`arif al-nizamiyyah, 1333 AH, v. 1, p. 169 ] [Yahya b.
