[al-Ghadيr fي al-kitلb wa'l-sunnah wa'l-adab, al-Amيnي, `Abd al-\usayn A<mad al-Tabrيzي al-Najafي, Beirut: Mu'assasat al-A`lamي (11 vols), 1414 AH/1994 CE, vol. 1, p. 163 ] أبوحفص عمر بن حسن بن مزيد بن أميلة المراغي ثم الحلبي ثم الدمشقي ثم المزي الشهير بابن أميلة المولود 679 والمتوفى 778 ، ترجمه الجزري في طبقات القراء ج 1 ص 590 ، وإبن حجر في الدرر ج 3 ص 159 وقال : مسند العصر حدث بالكثير وكثر الانتفاع به وحدث نحوا من خمسين سنة وكان كثير التلاوة . اه . و أثنى عليه بالثقة والدين واالصلاح والخير إبن الجزري في طبقات القراء ، وعن فضل إبن روزبهان : كان ثقة متقنا إليه ينتهي اسناد أكابر المشايخ وأجلة الاصحاب.
