أبوالفتح محمد بن علي بن إبراهيم النطنزي المولود 480 ( لم أقف على وفاته ) ذكره السمعاني في أنسابه وقال: أفضل من بخراسان والعراق ‏في اللغة والادب والقيام بصنعة الشعر، قدم علينا مرو سنة إحدى وعشرين وقرأت عليه طرفا صالحا من الادب، و إستفدت منه واغترفت ‏من بحره، ثم لقيته بهمدان ثم قدم علينا بغداد غير مرة في مدة مقامي بها وما لقيته إلا وكتبت عنه واقتبست منه، ثم ذكر مشايخه.‏
