قال الذهبي: ورزين بن معاوية أبوالحسن العبدري الاندلسي السرقسطي مصنف تجريد الصحاح، روى كتاب البخاري عن أبي مكتوم ‏ابن أبي ذر، وكتاب مسلم عن الحسين الطبري، وجاور بمكة دهرا، وتوفي في المحرم.‏
