علاء الدين علي بن محمد القوشجي المتوفى 879، ترجمه بدرالدين في تعاليق الفوائد البهية ص 214 وذكر تآليفه وقال: كان ماهرا في العلوم ‏الرياضية وعبر عنه الكاتب الجلبي في كشف الظنون في ذكر شرح التجريد له بالمولى المحقق‎ . ‎أثنى على شرحه، وترجمه الطاشكبرى زاده في ‏الشقايق النعمانية ج 1 ص 177 - 181 وأثنى عليه بالمولى الفاضل وترجمه الشوكاني في البدر الطالع ج 1 ص 495.‏
