[al-Ghadيr fي al-kitلb wa'l-sunnah wa'l-adab, al-Amيnي, `Abd al-\usayn A<mad al-Tabrيzي al-Najafي, Beirut: Mu'assasat al-A`lamي (11 vols), 1414 AH/1994 CE, vol. 1, p. 179 ] ضياء الدين صالح بن مهدي بن علي بن عبدالله المقبلي ثم الصنعاني ثم المكي المولود 1047 والمتوفى بمكة 1108 ، ترجمه الشوكاني في البدر الطالع ج 1 ص 288 - 92 وقال : هو ممن برع في جميع علوم الكتاب والسنة ، وحقق الاصولين والعربية والمعاني والبيان والحديث والتفسير وفاق في جميع ذلك وله مؤلفات مقبولة كلها عند العلماء محبوبة اليهم يتنافسون فيها ويحتجون بترجيحاته وهو حقيق بذلك . ثم ذكر مؤلفاته وعد منها : الابحاث المسددة في الفنون المتعددة.
