Every time you face difficulties and challenges in the world, especially during this pandemic, remember to bring Lady Zaynab (as) at the forefront of your thoughts. Take this opportunity to feel empowered by remembering the trials and tribulations that she went through on the day of Ashura, how she displayed resistance and perseverance when she saw the children being burned and the tents lit on fire. Lady Zaynab (as) did not hesitate and immediately took on the role of a nurse, she became a fearless warrior and confronted the despot rulers.
"Ma ra’aitu illa jameela", we are the children of Lady Zaynab, Salam-ullahi-alaiyha. It is said about her, "laqad ajbat min sabriha malaaikati Al-sama". Let us try and elucidate about the fragrant memories that are deep rooted in Lady Zaynab, alayha assalam.
She enjoyed the most exalted lineage since she ramified from the tree of Nubuwwah and Imamah and combined all the elements of honor and dignity. She was fed with a core of true Emaan and the real authentic Islam. Her love for Allah subhanah wa ta’ala was constantly activated to the fullest in her fitrat, her submission to Allah subhanah wa ta’ala can be displayed in Surah Baqarah ayat number 207
[And among men is he who sells himself to seek the pleasure of Allah; and Allah is Affectionate to the servants (2:207)]. It is so distinct when, upon seeing her beloved brother, Imam Hussein's decapitated body, she recited a thankful prayer to Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala,' Allahumma taqabbal minna hadha al qurban' (“O Allah, accept from us this sacrifice.”).
In the visage of Lady Zaynab Salam-ullah-alaiha, you see the resistance and perseverance of this great woman displayed when she saw the children, the orphans being burned and the tents lit on fire, on the day of Ashura. She immediately took on the role of a nurse. She became this fearless warrior and confronted the desperate rulers. Her speech was perceiving and extremely powerful.
She manifested the words of the Holy Quran. Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Rahim 'Wabashshiri alssabireena Allatheena itha asabathum museebatun qaloo inna lillahi wainna ilayhi rajioon. Ulaika AAalayhim salawatun min rabbihim warahmat' (2:155:157). And this tells us that she had the absolute faith and reliance upon Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala. And in her you can see the superpower of resilience in the personality of this beautiful woman, Lady Zaynab Salam-ullahi-alaiha. When she confronts the enemies and when she speaks up on behalf of the orphans and the widows, 'Inna lillahi wainna ilayhi rajiAAoona (2:156)'. This is the word these are the words that Lady Zaynab Salam-ullah-alaiha uses as an energy and she does not succumb to any one other than Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala.
Lady Zaynab Salam-ullah-alaiha strives with all she's got to defend the Haqq, to defend the Divine Truth. She shows the Truth. She walks the Truth. She shows dignity. She shows honour. She shows strength and resilience against the falsehood and tyranny. She manifests divinely inspired beauty that exudes this beautiful fragrance for the people of Godliness, for she was a Godly soul.
"Ma ra'aitu illa jamila". Siamo i figli della nobile Zaynab, salam-ullahi alaiyha. Ricordati che ogni volta che affronti le prove, le difficoltà e le sfide del mondo, soprattutto durante questa pandemia globale, ricordati di lei, sentiti più forte ricordando le prove e le tribolazioni che ha affrontato nel giorno di Ashura e dopo Ashura.
Si dice di lei: "laqad ajbat min sabriha malaaikati Al-sama". Proviamo a chiarire le fragranti memorie che affondano le loro radici nella nobile Zaynab - alayha assalam.
Ella gode del lignaggio più nobile, poiché discende dall'albero della 'nubuwwah' [profezia] e dell'Imamah [imamato] e unisce tutti gli elementi dell'onore e della dignità. È stata nutrita con l'essenza della vera 'imaan' [fede] e del vero e autentico Islam. Il suo amore per Allah subhanah wa ta'ala è stato costantemente attivo al massimo grado nella sua 'fitra' [natura], la sua sottomissione ad Allah subhanah wa ta'ala può essere esposta nella Surah Baqarah ayat numero 207. [َMa tra gli esseri umani ce n'è qualcuno che ha dato tutto se stesso alla ricerca del compiacimento di Allah. Allah è dolce con i Suoi servi. (2:207)]
È così significativo che vedendo il corpo decapitato del suo amatissimo fratello, l'Imam Hussein, ella reciti una preghiera di ringraziamento ad Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala: "Allahumma taqabbal minna hadha al qurban" ("O Allah, accetta da noi questo sacrificio").
Nel volto della nobile Zaynab - Salam-ullah-alaiha - si vedono la resistenza e la perseveranza di questa grande donna. Le dimostra quando vede che i bambini, gli orfani vengono bruciati e le tende incendiate nel giorno di Ashura. Ella assume immediatamente il ruolo di infermiera. Diventa la guerriera impavida che affronta i governanti disperati. Il suo discorso è perspicace ed estremamente potente.
Ella rende manifeste le parole del Sacro Qur'an:
bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Rahim
"Wabashshiri alssabirina Allathina itha asabathum musibatun qalu inna lillahi wainna ilayhi rajiun. Ulaika AAalayhim salawatun salawatun min rabbihim warahmat" [(2:155-157)Sicuramente vi metteremo alla prova con terrore, fame e diminuzione dei beni, delle persone e dei raccolti. Ebbene, da’ la buona novella a coloro che perseverano, 156 Quelli che quando vengono colti da una disgrazia dicono: “Siamo di Allah e a Lui ritorneremo”, coloro saranno benedetti dal loro signore e saranno ben guidati]. E questo ci dice che aveva fede assoluta e fiducia assoluta in Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala.
E in lei, nella personalità di questa bella donna, la nobile Zaynab Salam-ullahi-alaiha, si può vedere il superpotere della resilienza, quando affronta i nemici parla a nome degli orfani e delle vedove: "Inna lillahi wainna ilayhi rajiaoon (2:156)". Questa è la parola che la nobile Zaynab - Salam-ullah-alaiha - usa come fonte di energia e non soccombe a nessun altro se non ad Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
La nobile Zaynab - Salam-ullah-alaiha - si sforza con tutto quello che ha di difendere l'haqq, di difendere la verità divina. Ella mostra la verità. Ella cammina nella verità. Mostra dignità. Mostra onore. Mostra forza e resistenza contro la falsità e la tirannia. Ella manifesta la bellezza ispirata da Dio che emana questa bella fragranza per il popolo di Dio, poiché ella era un'anima divina.
