allowed for? what are the general basic prinicples of mutaa, and if it is 
possible to have names of any books or internet based sites where i could get 
more information about this subject.

A good general overview is provided by Professor Sachiko Murata in her 
book "Temporary Marriage (Mut'a) in Islamic Law" and further details are
covered by Ayatullah Seestani in his "Islamic Laws" and by other Maraje
in their books of Fatwas.
