QUESTION:

Is wearing black shoes makrooh ?

Is wearing ties makrooh ?

ANSWER:

1. It is Makruh to wear black shoes, but remember, it is not Haram.
I do not think this is a serious matter on which one should be that 
much concerned.

2. Wearing of ties is not Makruh. It could have been Makruh when it 
was used as a symbol of the cross by the Christians. But now no-one 
relates it to the Christian symbol.
