QUESTION:
Some people say that women must cover their hair while reading qur'an
even if there are no non-mahrem men around. what is the generally
accepted view on this?
ANSWER:
It is not necessary for women to cover their hair while reading Qur'an. Of
course, when a Na-Mahram is present, then the hair is covered because of his
presence, and not for reading from the Quran.
