QUESTION:

I have a question regarding perfume, most modern day perfumes have an 
alcohol component in them, does this mean we are not allowed to use 
them?  What are the rules regarding praying namaaz with these 
perfumes, and do the conditions change if the perffume is sprayed 
especially for the occasion of namaaz.


ANSWER:

The alcohol contained in perfumes is synthetic alcohol and is not Najis.
Hence Prayers with that perfume are allowed.
