QUESTION:

What is the proper way of leasing and financing a car. Is it haram to lease
or finance a car through a bank or financial institution. Must all leasing and
financing be done through an Islamic institute.


ANSWER:

It is not Haraam and it does not necessarily have to be done through Islamic
institutions.
