Ehraam must be started from a Meeqaat like Masjid al Shajarah or Johfah or Qarn al-Manaazil etc. Ehraam can not start from the hotel which is not a Meeqaat. Wearing the Ehraam does not mean starting the state of Ehraam. You can wear the Ehraam in the hotel then go to the Meeqat to start you Ehraam state by Intention Niyyah of the Ehraam and reciting the Takbiyah which is :لبَّيكَداللهمَّ لبَّيك لبَّيك لا شَريكَ لَكَ لَبَّيك إنَّ الحمدَ والنعمةَ لَكَ والمُلك، لا شريكَ لَكَ لَبَّيك Labbaykallahumma Labbayk, Labbayka Laa Shareeka Laka Labbayk, Innal Hamda Wanni’mata Laka Walmulk, Laa Shareeka Laka Labbayk.
