as salam alaikum

the sunset (Maghrib time) marks the beginning of the new twenty-four-hour period (Yawm) or "day". For example, at Maghrib of Thursday starts the night of Friday (Laylat al-Jumu'ah) and at Fajr time of the night of Friday starts the daytime of Friday (Nahar al-Jumu'ah) and it lasts until the next Maghrib. The same goes for all the others days.

With prayers for your success.

Yes, it is Makrouh (disliked and harmful) to sleep between Fajr and sunrise and also between Asr and Maghrib.

Sleeping between Fajr and sunrise drives away Barakat and makes the income less, as we read in many Hadeeths.(النوم بين الفجر وطلوع الشمس يطرد الرزق)

Sleeping between Asr and Maghrib harms the mental and psychological health. The Hadeeth states: Who sleeps after Asr,  should not blame but himself. (من نام بعد العصر فلا يلومن الا نفسه)

Assalamu aleykum,

I would suggest, as precaution, to remove any traces of the mascara and re-do ghusl, wudhu and also the prayer, just to be sure that everything is performed as it should be.

It could be useful to see the rulings about the validity of wudhu’ (but also ghusl):

5. The organs of wudu must be ritually clean (tahir) before washing or wiping them.

Besides the ritual cleanliness (taharat) of the organs of wudu, they must also be exposed. In other words, there should be nothing on them which might prevent the water from reaching the skin. Special care should be taken by women in case the lipstick, nail-polish, kohl, and eye shadow are such that the water does not reach the skin. If the dirt under the long nails is not more than normal, then it will not harm the wudu.

It is allowed but Makrouh (Disliked) as we have a Hadeeth from Imam Mohammad Al-Baqir (AS) stating that it is Makrouh to have sexual intercourse between Fajr and sunrise.

Wasa'il Al-Shia by Al-Hurr Al-Aamili, Vol 20, Page 125.

The Hadeeths explain that it is recommended to be awake between Fajr and sunrise, by being busy in worshiping Allah. Sexual relationship with spouse is recommended in general but there are certain times and situations where it becomes Makrouh.
