What distinguishes Ziyarat Waritha from Ziyarat Ashura? Are the two Rakat of Salah performed after each Ziyarat identical? What is the intention (niyyah) for each Salah?

Both Ziyarat waarith and Ziyarat Ashura are great,although Ziyarat Ashura has a greater importance to be recited everyday and.

The two Rak’ats of namaz of Ziyarat are the same,and the intention of it is the same:Qurbatan Ila Allah[for the sake of Allah]

Certain families, like Bani Umayyah, are considered evil, and are cursed in Ziarat Ashurah. How does this collective evil, and collective good for the noble families, correspond with individual free will?

There is collective evil on any family even if majority of the family went with wrong and falsehood. Bani Omayyah who were cursed in Ziyarat Ashura include those wrong doers and their supporters only. Pious persons from Bani Omayyah are not included at all in this curse as we read in our authentic narrations about Sa'd Al-Khair Al-Amawi who was from the Omayyad family from the children of Abdul Aziz ibn Marwan, but was a follower of Ahlul Bayt (AS) and a student of Imam Al-Baqir (AS). Imam Al-Baqir (AS) told him that he is never included in the curse as he is a Mo'min.

The most noble family Bani Hashim had also bad persons like Abu Lahab who was a direct uncle of the Prophet (SAWA).

I recite Ziarat Ashoora daily, but I recite the repeating paragraphs 10 times each instead of 100. Does reciting only 10 times reduce the Sawab and will it still be acceptable?

Ziyarat Ashura can be recited in many ways, e,g. Repeating the two paragraphs 100 times each, or reciting each of the two paragraphs once then saying: 99 times.

'We don't have in the narrations to repeat 10 times, yet you will get the reward for whatever you recite.

What is the etiquette and method to perform Ziyarat Ashura at home in order to solve a problem or get cured from diseases?

Ziyarat Ashura is one of greatest recitations narrated from Ahlul Bayt (AS). It was narrated through authentic chain of narrators from Imam Muhammad Al-Baqir (AS). It has great benefits in solving problems and getting us peaceful and successful life here and hereafter. Many of our great scholars, including Grand Ayatullah Na'eeni, the teacher of Ayatullah Khoei, said that its benefits are more than any other recitation which he knows.

We have authentic narrations that Imam Al-Mahdi (AS) advised sincere believers not to miss Ziyarat Ashura nor Night Prayer nor Ziyarat Al-Jami'ah.

Ziyarat Ashura does not need a special method to be performed. It is recommended to perform Wudhu, face the direction of Karbala and recite it.

It is very useful to gift the reward of it to the Infallible Ahlul Bayt and your parents and relatives and all the Mo'mineen and Mo'minaat who are alive or deceased. This will make your reward much greater.
