ألشيخ يوسف بن إسماعيل النبهاني البيروتي رئيس محكمة الحقوق في بيروت مؤلف منتخب الصحيحين من كلام سيد الكونين ( ط ‏مصر 1329 ) بحاثة كبير له في الادب نصيبه الاوفى ، يعبر عنه الحداد في القول الفصل 1 ص 444 بعالم العصر الشيخ العلامة ، ألف ‏في الحديث والادب وأكثر ، وقد طبع في مصر وبيروت من تآليفه ما يناهز الخمسين ، كتب ترجمته بقلمه في كتابه الشرف المؤبد ص ‏‏140 - 43.‏
