A Conversation with Abraham: Exploring the Image of God in the Bible and the Qur’an Part 1
In this part, God's image and characteristics in both the Old Testament and the Qur'an will be compared and contrasted in regards to "seeing" God, His knowledge, His all-hearing quality, and His justice, and how these aspects contribute to an image of Him.
This paper is based on first part of lecture four and all of lecture six of a series of lectures delivered by Dr Mohammad Ali Shomali in summer 2004 in Qum. Lecture five and the remaining part of lecture four relate to the ban by the first three Caliphs on narrating hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad (a) and will be published separately in upcoming articles.
This is a collection of Ahadith of Masumeen (as) on Anger, its destructive effects on the intellect, faith and soul of a person and the reward for controlling it.
In this book, the author covers the history of Shi'i Islam from after the death of the Prophet . He discusses in detail the rule of the three Caliphs and of Imam Ali after that. He also delves into the history of the Ummayad rulers and their actions.
