The Fly That Steals - Quran Miracles
Sayed Ammar Nakshawani presents a miracle of the Quran concerning the fly. A beautiful explanation that everyone should listen to.
You find that this fly, Allah asked them to reflect on the fly. It is as if the fly was a creature for them to reflect on.
But Allah, Subhana wa Ta'ala, did not stop there, no. He then went on to the miracle about the fly. In which way? He went on to say, "wa in yaslubhumu 'dh-dhubaabu shay’an, laa yastaqidhoohu minhu" (22:73). What did the verse say? The verse said that, "And if a fly steals something from them, they will never be able to catch it". This is a scientific miracle in itself.
Why? A thousand years later, the scholars of biology came forward when they analyzed the fly. They found out that a fly is the only animal which breaks food outside of its body through the usage of enzymes which break the food into small pieces. That if a fly steals a breadcrumb from you, you will never win it back! Because that fly as soon as it has stolen a breadcrumb from you, the enzymes are already breaking the breadcrumb outside the body. Then they form a tube where the crumb becomes liquid. Before you know it, that fly has taken it all in.
When the scholars of science found this out, everyone said, 'Look how magnificent these scholars are! That they found out that the fly, which is this small, is able to reach a level where it is able to break with enzymes, food outside its body'! The Lord of mankind had already discussed it a thousand years earlier. When he told the Arabs: "wa in yaslubhumu 'dh-dhubaabu shay’an, laa yastaqidhoohu minhu" (22:73). 'When a fly steals something from them, they will never be able to catch it'.
That was a challenge to the Arabs, why? It was saying that these idols that you worship, they can not even create a fly. Forget creating a fly. If a fly stole something from them, they will never be able to catch it. Because the "lam" that is used is "lit'tabeed", which means what? Which means they will never be able to catch it.
Allah, Subhana wa Ta'ala, is speaking to whom? That Arab sitting down at home staring at his sheep and his camel, has not got a clue what is meant in this verse. But when your Lord said this Qur'an is for you until the Day of Judgment, He was telling you that the knowledge I am giving you in this Book, until the Day of Judgment, you will find that this knowledge is true for you.
