I am Still Not Convinced to Wear the Hijab
Some Muslim women, they don't wear Hijab. You ask them, Why don't you wear Hijab? Allah says it is wajib in the the Qur'an. Some I have heard, they say I am still not convinced of the wisdom behind Hijab. I don't see how Hijab makes me a better person. I don't see why the Hijab is useful. I'm still not convinced.
Brothers and sisters, it should be enough to convince me that if my Lord Allah said do it, this should be enough to convince me, because I am the slave and He is the master. And the slave doesn't have the right to what? To negotiate and to object and to say I have to wait until I am what, convinced?
If a sergeant in the army tells the soldiers, do something, what do they do? Why do they do it? They don't ask, they submit. They're not going to say why. What's the reason behind this?
We have to submit to Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala, the mere fact that Allah said do it. I trust Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala. Allah said there is wisdom behind that. I don't have to be convinced. There is wisdom, we will speak about that. But let's say I wasn't convinced. Let's say in my lecture the day after tomorrow, I bring you ten reasons of why a Hijab is beneficial, but you are not convinced. Any of these reasons.
Does that mean you leave Hijab? No! Because at the end of the day, Allah is the one that said: wear it, and we have to trust Allah. Allah is wise, and you only tell us to do things that we benefit from. So this should be enough. And I cannot say that I'm not convinced. I am not convinced means I reject Allah's knowledge. I reject Allah's wisdom.
That's why the Holy Qur'an says about this. Allah says in the Holy Qur'an: 'Wa ma kana limu'minin wala mu'minatin, idha qadha Allahu wa Rasuluhu 'amran, an yakoona lahumu al-khiyaratu min amrihim' (33:36). If Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala or Rasul Allah says something is wajib, that's it. It is not a matter of choice, it is not a matter of when I am convinced. It is a matter of doing it right away, because Allah is giving an order. He is not asking me nicely, please do it. he is telling me, no, you have to do it. And if I am a true Muslim, I submit to Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala.
Einige muslimische Frauen tragen keinen Hijab. Du fragst sie: Warum trägst du keinen Hidschab? Allah sagt im Koran, dass es wajib ist. Einige, die ich gehört habe, sagen: Ich bin immer noch nicht von der Weisheit des Hijab überzeugt. Ich sehe nicht, wie der Hidschab mich zu einem besseren Menschen macht. Ich sehe nicht, warum der Hidschab nützlich ist. Ich bin immer noch nicht überzeugt.
Brüder und Schwestern, es sollte genügen, mich davon zu überzeugen, dass, wenn mein Herr Allah sagt, tu es, dies genügen sollte, mich zu überzeugen, denn ich bin der Sklave und Er ist der Herr. Und der Sklave hat nicht das Recht auf was? Zu verhandeln und Einspruch zu erheben und zu sagen, ich muss warten, bis ich überzeugt bin?
Wenn ein Feldwebel in der Armee den Soldaten sagt, sie sollen etwas tun, was tun sie dann? Warum tun sie es? Sie fragen nicht, sie fügen sich. Sie werden nicht sagen, warum. Was ist der Grund dafür?
Wir müssen uns Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala unterwerfen, allein die Tatsache, dass Allah gesagt hat, wir sollen es tun. Ich vertraue Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala. Allah hat gesagt, dahinter steckt Weisheit. Ich muss nicht überzeugt werden. Es gibt Weisheit, wir werden darüber sprechen. Aber nehmen wir an, ich wäre nicht überzeugt. Nehmen wir an, ich bringe Ihnen in meinem Vortrag übermorgen zehn Gründe, warum ein Hijab vorteilhaft ist, aber Sie sind nicht überzeugt. Irgendeiner dieser Gründe.
Bedeutet das, dass Sie den Hijab ablegen? Nein! Denn schließlich ist Allah derjenige, der gesagt hat: Tragt ihn, und wir müssen Allah vertrauen. Allah ist weise, und du sagst uns nur, was wir tun sollen, wenn es uns nützt. Das sollte also ausreichen. Und ich kann nicht sagen, dass ich nicht überzeugt bin. Ich bin nicht überzeugt, das heißt, ich lehne Allahs Wissen ab. Ich lehne Allahs Weisheit ab.
Deshalb sagt der Heilige Qur'an darüber. Allah sagt im Heiligen Qur'an: 'Wa ma kana limu'minin wala mu'minatin, idha qadha Allahu wa Rasuluhu 'amran, an yakoona lahumu al-khiyaratu min amrihim' (33:36). Wenn Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala oder Rasul Allah sagt, dass etwas wajib ist, dann ist es so. Es ist keine Frage der Wahl, es ist keine Frage, wann ich überzeugt bin. Es geht darum, es sofort zu tun, denn Allah gibt einen Befehl. Er bittet mich nicht höflich, es zu tun, sondern er sagt mir: Nein, du musst es tun. Und wenn ich ein wahrer Muslim bin, unterwerfe ich mich Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala.
