What Makes Bismillah Such A Powerful Du’a
Where does Shaytan live? He said any house which is entered without Bismillah, Shaytan lives in that house.
Sometimes people ask the question, you tell me to write Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Rahim or recite Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Rahim before any act, what difference does it make? When a person who does not believe in God, doesn't say Bismillah and eats, he is okay. He gains the rizq from Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala. And when I eat, if I say Bismillah, the nateeja is the same, the result is one.
So, why is it that that person, when he doesn't say Bismillah, there is no change? And when I say Bismillah there is no change? What is the point of me reciting when the person that doesn't recite has no harm and damage? The answer that is given is very clear. Because when you look at Shaytan, yes, Shaytan kaan min al-jinn, was from the jinn, but Shaytan sleeps, Shaytan eats, Shaytan lives.
What do I mean? One of the infallibles was asked, Is it true that Shaytan lives? He says yes. And he sleeps and he eats? He said yes, he does all of these things. Curiosity came. That where does Shaytan live? He said that any house which is entered without Bismillah, Shaytan lives in that house. They said where does Shaytan eat, they said any house or table on which the food is eaten without Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Rahim, know that right next to you, Shaytan is sitting and eating. They said where does Shaytan sleep? He said when I go to sleep without saying Bismillah, I may think I am alone. Next to me, Shaytan is sleeping.
The greatest benefit of Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Rahim, whether I see the effect or not is that Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala says, Shaytan is far away from where Bismillah is present.
That is why when you look at that Hadith, which says ,"All of Quran is in al-Hamd and all of al-Hamd is in Bismillah and all of Bismillah is in the nuqta, and Amirul Mominnen is that dot." Wherever Bismillah is, Shaytan is far away.
Wherever you find Amir al-Mu'mineen, know Shaytan is very far from that place.

Parfois, les gens se posent la question, vous me dites d'écrire Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Rahim ou de réciter Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Rahim avant tout acte, quelle différence cela fait-il? Quand une personne qui ne croit pas en Dieu, ne dit pas Bismillah et mange, elle va bien. Il gagne le rizq d'Allah (swt). Et quand je mange, si je dis Bismillah, le nateeja est le même, le résultat est le même.
Alors, pourquoi cette personne, quand elle ne dit pas Bismillah, n'y a-t-il pas de changement? Et quand je dis Bismillah, il n'y a pas de changement? Quel est l'intérêt pour moi de réciter alors que la personne qui ne récite pas n'a pas de mal et de dommage? La réponse qui est donnée est très claire. Parce que quand on regarde Shaytan, oui, Shaytan kaan min al-jinn, était du djinn, mais Shaytan dort, Shaytan mange, Shaytan vit.
Qu'est-ce que je veux dire? On a demandé à l'un des infallibles: "Est-il vrai que Shaytan vit? Il répond par l'affirmative. Et qu'il dort et qu'il mange? Il a dit oui, il fait toutes ces choses. La curiosité est venue. Ou vit Shaytan? Il a dit que toute maison dans laquelle on entre sans Bismillah, Shaytan y vit. Ils ont demandé où Shaytan mangeait, ils ont répondu que toute maison ou la table sur laquelle on mangeait sans Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Rahim, sachez que juste à côté de vous, Shaytan est assis et mange.
Ils ont demandé: "Où Shaytan dort-il? Il a répondu que lorsque je vais dormir sans dire Bismillah, je peux penser que je suis seul. Mais à côté de moi, Shaytan dort.
Le plus grand avantage de Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Rahim, que j'en vois l'effet ou non, est qu'Allah (swt) dit Shaytan est loin de l'endroit où Bismillah est présent. C'est pourquoi, lorsque vous regardez ce Hadith, qui dit: "Tout le Coran est dans al-Hamd et tout al-Hamd est dans Bismillah et tout Bismillah est dans le nuqta, et Amir al-Mu'minin est ce point. Où que se trouve Bismillah, Shaytan est loin. Où que vous trouviez Amir al-Mu'minin, sachez que Shaytan est très loin de cet endroit.
Dove vive Shaytan? "Shaytan vive in ogni casa in cui si entra senza dire'Bismillah' [Col nome di Dio]."
A volte la gente mi fa questa domanda, mi dice: che differenza fa scrivere 'Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Rahim' [Col nome di Dio, il Clemente, il Misericordioso] o recitare 'Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Rahim' prima di ogni atto? Quando una persona che non crede in Dio mangia senza dire 'Bismillah', sta bene lo stesso, si guadagna il 'rizq' [sostentamento] da Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala. E quando mangio io e dico 'Bismillah', il 'natija', il risultato è lo stesso. Allora, se quando quella persona non dice 'Bismillah non succede niente e quando io dico 'Bismillah' non succede niente, a cosa serve che io lo dica se la persona che non lo dice non ne ha alcun danno?
La risposta è molto chiara. Perché se si considera Shaytan... Sì: Shaytan "kaan min al-jinn", era dei' jinn' [creature non umane ma intelligenti], però Shaytan dorme, Shaytan mangia, Shaytan è vivo. Cosa intendo dire? A uno degli Infallibili [Imam] AS fu chiesto: "E' vero che Shaytan è vivo?" Egli rispose di sì. "E che dorme e mangia?" Egli rispose di sì: "Fa tutte queste cose". Venne la curiosità di chiedere: "E dove vive Shaytan?" Egli rispose: "Shaytan vive in ogni casa in cui si entra senza dire 'Bismillah' [Col nome di Dio]." Gli fu chiesto: "E dove mangia Shaytan" Egli rispose: "Sappiate che Shaytan è seduto accanto a voi a mangiare in ogni casa e a ogni tavolo ove si mangia senza dire 'Bismillah al-Rahman Al-Rahim'." gli fu chiesto: "E dove dorme Shaytan?" Egli rispose: "Quando andate a dormire senza dire 'Bismillah' pensate di essere soli, ma accanto a voi sta dormento Shaytan."
Il più grande vantaggio di dire 'Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Rahim', che io ne veda l'effetto o meno, è che Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala dice: "Shaytan è lontano da dove 'Bismillah' è presente". Ecco perché quando si guarda a quell'hadith che dice: "Tutto il Qur'an è in al-Hamd [la prima sura o l'Aprente] e tutta al-Hamd è in Bismillah e tutto Bismillah è nella 'nuqta' e Amir al-Mu'minin ['Ali ibn Abi Talib] è quel punto"... Ovunque sia 'Bismillah', Shaytan è lontano. Ovunque troviate Amir al-Mu'minin, sappiate che Shaytan è molto lontano da lì.
