Ramadan

Ramadan (; Arabic: رمضان‎ Ramaḍān, also known as Ramazan, romanized as Ramzan, Ramadhan, or Ramathan) is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, and is observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting (Sawm) to commemorate the first revelation of the Quran to Muhammad according to Islamic belief.

If you are Baaligh, you must then fast the whole month of Ramadan and not only twenty days. Your parents have no right to stop you from obligatory fast.

If you are still not Baaligh, then you should listen to your parents.

Yes of course. Acceptance of every worship depends on the sincerity in the intention.

Menstruating female is allowed to perform all worship e.g. Thikr of Allah, Du'a, reading Quran (except the four verses of obligatory Sojood). She is not allowed to pray any Salah nor perform Tawaf around Ka'ba nor stay in Masjid.

Wassalam.

Illness has it's rules in Islam, including not fasting if illness can be initiated or worsened by fasting. I'll person who can not fast is not going against the orders of Allah, but obeying Him by not fasting.

Among the necessary things to observe between opposite genders is to avoid what we call khalwah. Khalwah means to be isolated and in a private closed off area with a non-mahram person. This is haram. When you are secluded with a non-mahram woman, within a particular setting, like what you mentioned, then there will be strong potential to engage in unlawful actions.

The hadith says that whenever there are two individuals of opposite gender alone, the third will be shaitan.

This is assuming that it's only you and her in the house. If there are other people, then it would not be considered as khalwah

This is also not applicable to professional communication, like a work colleague in a meeting, or a counseling session, etc.

As Muslims, we must be extra cautious and very strict in our interactions with non-mahrams.

That being said, your fasting during the holy month of Ramadhan will be valid, as long as you observe all required conditions for fasting.

And Allah knows best.

This is a nice idea. :)

I went on Amazon and searched "Ramadan decorations" and all the things that came up seemed appropriate to me. (Except for the ones for Eid, which should be specifically on/around Eid at the end of the month, but those are nice too.)

Of course I am not advocating Amazon specifically, just saying that it has some ideas. So maybe you could look at it and get ideas.

Also if you search "do it yourself Ramadan decorations" on Google, you will also see some ideas.

I am sure some people have more of an artistic sense than me and will have better ideas, this is just a preliminary suggestion!

Our great scholars in Fiqh (Jurisprudence) have studied and discussed this matter like any other new matter and gave the rules related to it derived from our main Evidence (Quran, Hadeeth, intellect and Ijmaa').
This is the practice of our great scholars in every matter which concerns the life of people.

Waking up for eating or drinking in Sehri (Sohoor) is not a condition in fasting. Fasting is must on Baaligh Muslim whether they wake up or don't wake up for Sehri.

Baaligh girl ( who completed full nine lunar years) must fast the month of Ramadan. Not fasting is a major sin which requires then Qadha of that day, and Kaffara of fasting two months or feeding of sixty poor believers, for every day of not fasting.

Giving Kaffara does not make it permissible.

Laylat al-Qadr is understood to be one night towards the end of the month of Ramadan, but it is not clear which night it is.

Shi'i hadith specify the 19th, 21st, and 23rd as the strongest candidates for the night of Laylat al-Qadr. This is why there is special worship done all night on those days, and not usually on the later nights.

In the Sunni tradition, there is usually a focus on the later nights (any of the last 10 odd nights, but particularly the later ones) especially the 27th.

If one is a Shi'i, there is no harm in doing acts of worship for Laylat al-Qadr on the 27th of Ramadan, with the idea that it could possibly be a candidate for Laylat al-Qadr. Of course, acts of worship like Du'a Jawshan al-Kabir can be done any time.

Allah knows best.

The correct English pronunciation for رمضان is Ramadhan. Writing it with correct transliteration symbols is: Ramaḍān

Saying it as ramazan is incorrect.

And Allah knows best.
