Professor Lynda Clarke is a professor of Islamic Studies at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. She is the author of numerous publications on Islamic law, Shi'a studies, and contemporary Islamic thought.

Dr. Mehdi Golshani was born in Isfahan, Iran in 1939. He received his early education in Isfahan and graduated from Tehran University with a B. S. in Physics in 1959. He then went to the United States to continue studies in physics. He received his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California in Berkeley in 1969, with specialization in particle physics. In 1970, he joined Sharif University of Technology in Tehran and for over three decades has had a strong voice in the direction and design of the educational programs in the science departments.

Mehdi Mohaghegh, sometimes alternately transliterated Mahdi Muhaqqiq, (born 1930, Mashad,Iran) is an Iranian scholar specializing in Persian literature, Islamic studies and philosophy.

Shaykh Dr Murtadha Alidina was born in Zanzibar and he attained his medical degree from the Muhimbili University College of Health Sciences in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania He later went to Iran where he studied Islamic studies for more than 15 years. In July 2009, The International Mustafa University of Qum awarded him with an Honorary Doctorate in recognition of his work in the field of education and tabligh.

Dr. Abdulaziz Sachedina has an MA/PhD from the University of Toronto and has BA degrees from Aligarh Muslim University in India and Ferdowsi University of Mashad in Iran. He is currently the Frances Myers Ball (Chair) Professor of Religious Studies at the University of Virginia, and has been teaching for 33 years. Dr. Sachedina teaches courses on Classical Islam, Islam in the Modern Age, Islam, Democracy and Human Rights, Islam Bioethics and Muslim Theology.
