Change Your Approach To Salah
And that's why you notice that sometimes our brothers and other schools tell us you, the Shi'a of Aali Muhammad, do not pray your prayers properly. We say to them why? They say because Salah, the Qur'an says: 'inna as-salata kanat 'ala al-mu'minina kitaban mawqootan' (4:103). Salah has been put at times, you have to separate your Salah. You Shi'a combine your Salah.
We reply by saying number one, there isn't a single verse in the Qur'an which says there are five times which you pray in the day. There are three periods which you pray in the Qur'an. Three periods, what are they? Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim, 'aqimi as-salata li-duluki ash-shams, 'ila ghasaq al-layl, wa qur'an al-fajri' (17:78). You have the idea of sunset and you have the idea of what of Dhuhr and the idea of Fajr, three periods. Likewise you find Rasul Allah. Some people ask did Rasul Allah pray Fajr, Dhuhr, then 'Asr later, then Maghrib later, then 'Isha later? No.
Rasul Allah, there were times he combined, and there were times he separated. There is no harm combining, there is no harm separating. But notice with our brothers and other schools in Islam, notice with them, they took the harder option, we took the easier option. Isn't that true? Okay, they took the harder option of praying five completely separate. We took the easier option.
But MashaAllah, look at the way they look after their five, and look at the way we look after our three. Sometimes with us, Allah when he's given us the option of Dhuhr - 'Asr combination we still pray it late, whereas our brothers pray Dhuhr on time and 'Asr on time. When you see our brothers and they say that Salah is the highlight of their day, they are giving you a concept that while our Salah revolves around our day, their day revolves around their Salah.
Difference in mentality. Our Salah revolves around our day. What does that mean? That means if I've got a job, if I've got a meeting at 1:30, Salah can wait till 2:30. With them, if I have a meeting at 1:30, I'll postpone it because Salah comes first.

Wir antworten, indem wir erstens sagen, dass es keinen einzigen Vers im Koran gibt, der besagt, dass man fünf Mal am Tag beten muss. Im Koran gibt es drei Perioden, in denen man betet. Drei Perioden, welche sind das? Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim, 'aqimi as-salata li-duluki ash-shams, 'ila ghasaq al-layl, wa qur'an al-fajri' (17:78). Ihr habt die Idee des Sonnenuntergangs und ihr habt die Idee der Dhuhr und die Idee des Fajr, drei Perioden. Genauso findet man Rasul Allah. Manche Leute fragen, ob Rasul Allah Fajr, Dhuhr, dann 'Asr später, dann Maghrib später, dann 'Isha später gebetet hat? Nein.
Rasul Allah hat manchmal kombiniert, und manchmal hat er getrennt. Es ist nicht schlimm, zu kombinieren, und es ist nicht schlimm, zu trennen. Aber bei unseren Brüdern und anderen Schulen im Islam ist zu bemerken, dass sie die härtere Option gewählt haben, während wir die leichtere Option gewählt haben. Ist das nicht so? Okay, sie haben sich für die härtere Variante entschieden, fünf völlig getrennte Gebete zu verrichten. Wir haben die leichtere Option gewählt.
Aber MashaAllah, sieh dir an, wie sie sich um ihre fünf kümmern, und sieh dir an, wie wir uns um unsere drei kümmern. Manchmal, wenn Allah uns die Möglichkeit gibt, Dhuhr und 'Asr zu kombinieren, beten wir sie trotzdem spät, während unsere Brüder Dhuhr und 'Asr pünktlich beten. Wenn du unsere Brüder siehst und sie sagen, dass der Salah der Höhepunkt ihres Tages ist, geben sie dir ein Konzept, dass sich unser Salah um unseren Tag dreht, während sich ihr Tag um ihren Salah dreht.
Unterschiedliche Mentalität. Unser Salah dreht sich um unseren Tag. Was soll das heißen? Das heißt, wenn ich einen Job habe, wenn ich um 13:30 Uhr ein Meeting habe, kann Salah bis 14:30 Uhr warten. Wenn ich bei ihnen um 1:30 Uhr ein Meeting habe, verschiebe ich es, weil Salah an erster Stelle steht.
