Creating Unity through Difference of Opinion
Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala says in the Qur'an says, We need to introduce a new culture among ourselves in the way we think and relate to one another. It's called the culture of differences. The culture of to respect diversity within the human race, to respect difference of opinion within the parameters of our faith, right? When we disagree with one another. To agree to disagree respectfully. Something that we don't sometimes incorporate in our dealings with one another as Muslims.
Look what Allah, Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, says in the Qur'an: Bismi-Llah, Al-Rahmani, Al-Rahim. "Wa a'tasimoo bi habli Illaahi jamee'an wa la tafarraqoo"(3:103). In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Hold fast to the rope of Allah that he has writ down to you and do not be disunited amongst yourself. "Wa athkuroo ni'mata Allahi alaykum"(3:103). And recall, recall what? Recall the blessing of Allah on you.
Ya'ni, Allah is speaking to the Prophet, Ya Rasul Allah, remind the Makkans, remind the Muhajirin, the Ansar and the A'us and Khazraj, how with the coming of Islam your hearts became united. "Wa athkuroo ni'mata Allahi alaykum"(3:103). And remember the blessing of Allah on you. "idh kuntum a'daaa'an"(3:103). When you were enemies fighting amongst your souls with one another.
Fa' allafa baina aqulikom. No? Right? He united your intellect, he united your minds. Did he say that, Allah? What did He say? Correct me. "fa allafa baina quloobikum" (3:103). I can be your brother, I can be your sister. You can be my sister, I can be your brother with the love and the united hearts. But I beg your pardon to disagree with you on certain points, intellectually. Possible or not possible? We can unite by heart.
"Fa allafa baina quloobikum" (3:103). He didn't say: Fa' allafa baina aqulikom. "Fa allafa baina quloobikum" (3:103), He united your hearts so that you can be brethren, and forgive one another. But He did not expect you, that you all have one mindset. No, not at all.
You have a right to think logically. I have a right to think logically when I differ with you or I disagree with you, we must agree to disagree and respect that this differences or this diversity of thinking. Without abuse, without racism, without discrimination, without putting someone down, without the 1 million dollar question. The biggest disease in the Muslim ummah, the biggest disease in the Muslim ummah.

I don't like this guy. I begin to fabricate every lie about him to bring him down. What an act of injustice is this? You know why? Because Rasul Allah, salla Allahu alayhi wa alihi awa sallam, goes to the Ka'ba. And there is a similar Hadith, I see your Majlis is so dry tonight, mentioning the name of the Prophet, there is no Salawat [Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad wa Aali Muhammad] Sallu ala Muhammad wa aali Muhammad.
The Prophet, salla Allahu alayhi wa alihi wa sallam, goes to the Ka'ba and he's standing in front of it and he's speaking to the Kaba. Allah hu Akbar! Imagine when you go to Hajj or Umrah or visit and you're speaking to the Ka'ba, you're standing there and you're glaring at the Ka'ba.
Rasul Allah, goes to the Ka'ba and he says this, listen to these words he said: "Wa Allah, inni la a'lamu anna laka hurmatan inda Allah". By God, I know you have such a great status in the eyes of Allah. You have so much sanctity in the eyes of Allah. 'Ala inna hurmata al-Mu'min, ashaddu 'ala Allahi minki". But the sanctity, the respect, the honour, the dignity of a Mu'min is higher in the eyes of Allah than you [Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad wa Aali Muhammad] Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar.
So tasqeet il-mu'min, to reduce a Mu'min to a non-entity, to reduce a believer to something that is based on lies and fabrication amount to what? An act of justice or injustice? An act of injustice!
Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala säger i Koranen att vi måste införa en ny kultur bland oss själva i vårt sätt att tänka och relatera till varandra. Det kallas olikheternas kultur. Kulturen att respektera mångfald inom den mänskliga rasen, att respektera meningsskiljaktigheter inom ramen för vår tro, eller hur? När vi är oense med varandra. Att komma överens om att vara oense på ett respektfullt sätt. Något som vi ibland inte införlivar i våra kontakter med varandra som muslimer.

Och minns, minns vad? Kom ihåg Allahs välsignelse över er.
Ya'ni, Allah talar till profeten, Ya Rasul Allah, påminn makkanerna, påminn muhajirin, Ansar och A'us och Khazraj, hur era hjärtan förenades i och med islams ankomst. "Wa athkuroo ni'mata Allahi alaykum"(3:103). Och kom ihåg Allahs välsignelse över er. "idh kuntum a'daaa'an"(3:103). När ni var fiender som kämpade sinsemellan er.
Fa' allafa baina aqulikom. Inte? Eller hur? Han förenade ert intellekt, han förenade era sinnen. Sa han det, Allah? Vad sa han? Rätta mig. "fa allafa baina quloobikum" (3:103). Jag kan vara din bror, jag kan vara din syster. Du kan vara min syster, jag kan vara din bror med kärlek och förenade hjärtan. Men jag ber om ursäkt för att jag inte håller med dig på vissa punkter, intellektuellt. Möjligt eller inte möjligt? Vi kan förenas genom hjärtat.
"Fa allafa baina quloobikum" (3:103). Han sade inte: Fa' allafa baina aqulikom. "Fa allafa baina quloobikum" (3:103), Han förenade era hjärtan så att ni kan vara bröder och förlåta varandra. Men Han förväntade sig inte att ni alla skulle ha samma tankesätt. Nej, inte alls.
Du har rätt att tänka logiskt. Jag har rätt att tänka logiskt, när jag inte håller med dig eller när jag inte håller med dig, måste vi komma överens om att inte hålla med och respektera dessa skillnader eller denna mångfald av tänkande. Utan övergrepp, utan rasism, utan diskriminering, utan att trycka ner någon, utan 1 miljon dollar-frågan. Den största sjukdomen i den muslimska umman, den största sjukdomen i den muslimska umman.
Vad är det för något? Vet du vad det är? Personangrepp. Karaktärsmord.
Jag gillar inte den här killen. Jag börjar hitta på alla möjliga lögner om honom för att sänka honom. Vilken orättvis handling är detta? Vet du varför? För att Rasul Allah, salla Allahu alayhi wa alihi wa sallam, går till Ka'ba. Och det finns en liknande Hadith, jag ser att er Majlis är så torr ikväll, som nämner Profetens namn, det finns ingen Salawat [Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad wa Aali Muhammad] Sallu ala Muhammad wa aali Muhammad.
Profeten, salla Allahu alayhi wa alihi wa sallam, går till Ka'ba och han står framför den och han talar till Kaba. Allah hu Akbar! Föreställ dig när du åker till Hajj eller Umrah eller besöker och du talar till Ka'ba, du står där och du blänger på Ka'ba.
Rasul Allah, går till Ka'ba och han säger detta, lyssna på dessa ord han sa: "Wa Allah, inni la a'lamu anna laka hurmatan inda Allah". Vid Gud, jag vet att du har en sådan hög status i Allahs ögon. Du har så mycket helighet i Allahs ögon. 'Ala inna hurmata al-Mu'min, ashaddu 'ala Allahi minki'. Men heligheten, respekten, äran, värdigheten hos en Mu'min är högre i Allahs ögon än hos dig [Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad wa Aali Muhammad] Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar.
Så tasqeet il-mu'min, att reducera en Mu'min till en icke-entitet, att reducera en troende till något som är baserat på lögner och fabricering, vad är det? En handling av rättvisa eller orättvisa? En handling av orättvisa!
