The age of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) when he passed away was 63 years. According to some sources he was 19 days less than 63 years (62 years and 11 months and 11 days).

The main aim of celebrating the birth anniversaries of the Prophet (SAWA) and his Holy Progeny Ahlul Bayt (AS) is to make us reconfirm our allegiance to them and to make us more near to them and follow their teachings. The best way to celebrate can be by:

1. Checking to be sure that our life and daily practices are according to the teachings of the Prophet (SAWA) and Ahlul Bayt (AS). We need to check our behavior and life style and compare it with what the Prophet (SAWA) and Ahlul Bayt (AS) want us to do.

2. Being sure that our life does not have any behavior which goes against the teachings of the Prophet (SAWA) and Ahlul Bayt (AS).

3. Trying our best to convey the message of the Prophet (SAWA) and Ahlul Bayt (AS) to others especially those who do not know enough about it or those Muslims who do not cae to practice Islamic teachings.

4. Inviting non Muslims to read and know more about the teachings of the Prophet (SAWA) and Ahlul Bayt (AS) and providing them useful publications, links, materials , etc.

5. Sharing he happiness with our families, friends and especially  the poor people. Making believers happy will make the Prophet (SAWA) and Ahlul Bayt (AS) happy.

These are just few examples.

Wassalam.

Bismillah

Thank you for your question. A day of celebration is that in which you are able to worship and serve Allah. On the birthday of the Prophet (saw) send copious blessings on him (saw) and his family (as). Serve your Muslim brothers and sisters and thank Allah for the blessing of the Prophet (saw) by working towards the goals he was sent to guide towards.

May you always be successful

It is Not correct at all to claim that the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) was the least imperfect human.
There is not a single evidence about any imperfectness is the life of Prophet (SAWA).
The Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) is the Most Perfect Human and The best of All the Prophets.

It is authentic in both Sunni and Shia books that the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) celebrated the birth of his grand children, Hasan, Husain and Zainab.

Celebrating the birth anniversary of the twelve Imams is highly recommended as it reminds us with the great teachings of Islam for which the whole life of the twelve Imams was dedicated and sacrificed.

1. The Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) himself use to celebrate his birth by fasting every Monday being the day of his birth.

The Infallible Imams used to celebrate and encourage the believers to celebrate through performing recommended deeds and acts on the day of the birth anniversary like fasting, performing Ghusl, Ziyarat etc.

2. We do not have any evidence on celebrating the birthday of children or adults except of the Infallible and great personalities with them.

Allah, The Glorious, (SWT) has rescued him from the mob and raised him to the sky.( Sura 4, verses 157 and 158).

Allah (SWT) has ordained that Prophet Easa (AS) will come back to the earth and support and pray behind Imam Al-Mahdi (AS). This fact has been mentioned in Hadeeths narrated in Shia and Sunni books like :

1. Kaniz al-Ommaal , vol 6, page 30.

2. Yanabee’ al-Mawaddah by Al-Qondoozi al-Hanafi, 469.

3. Saheeh Ibn Hibban.

4. al-Tabaraani in Al-Mo’jam.

5. Hashiyat al-Fathbal-Mubeen.

6. Al-Sawa’q al-Mohriqah. And many other Sunni books.

Additionally, it does not make sense to directly compare the process of compilation of the Bible and the Qur'an because the two scriptures are quite different structurally and in terms of the historical circumstances surrounding them.

The Qur'an is much newer than the Bible, much shorter than the Bible, emerged in one region and in a short span of time. There has never been any question of what portions of the Qur'an to consider canonical. It was also all in a single language and dialect. Stylistically, the Qur'an is internally consistent indicating it is the work of a single author and does not have interpolations (whether or not one considers that author to be God, it still has a single "voice"). While, at the time of the Prophet, Mecca and Medina did not have sophisticated means of producing books, it was not long before advances in those areas, such as the use of paper, came to the Islamic world; and, in fact, it was through the Islamic world that some of these technologies were transferred to Europe.

In contrast, the compilation of the Bible is much more complicated. The scriptures are much older, span a broader length of time, and there is a lot more complexity with respect to how it came to be a single text. (There are numerous works on this subject available.) It becomes even more complicated if one considers both the New and the Old Testaments. It is not as if someone 2000+ years ago held out a book (or, rather, a scroll) called "The Bible" that is exactly the same as you find today; there was a process.

So, from a purely historical perspective, there are very different circumstances surrounding the compilation of what today we know as the Bible and the Qur'an, and the nature of the two books is also quite different. Therefore, it is not a one-to-one comparison and it is best to look at the compilation of each scripture separately and consider the validity or authenticity of each one separately.

Quran is the only Holy text which is completely intact, unlike Torah and Bible which have been distorted and changed into many different versions.

There is possibility at of misquoting the prophet Muhammad (SAWA) while writing the Quran as the Prophet and the writer (Imam Ali) both are Infallible supported by Allah (SWT) and His Angles. Allah (SWT) has promised to keep the Quran intact ( Verily, We Have sent the Thikr (Quran) and We will be guarding it (from corruption))(انا نحن نزلنا الذكر وانا له لحافظون )(Sura 15, verse 9)

The Prophet (SAWA) has recited the Quran and supervised writing it. No question at all of any error in writing the Quran as all the Infallible Imams read the Quran in the same way which confirms that there is no error whatsoever.

The fact of the purity of Quran is admitted even by the enemies who tried every thing to harm Quran but could not as Quran is protected by Allah (SW) and no one or power can make any change in Quran as it's enemies tried and failed.

The first part of this question is really a question about the authenticity of the Qur'anic text: is it all as the Prophet Muhammad stated, or could anything have been added to it over the centuries?

Since, from the time of the Prophet, the Qur'an was heavily memorized and was transmitted by multiple transmitters, and was compiled early in Islamic history, it is unlikely that anything was added to it, as it would not have been accepted by the people. There was also a lot of strictness in copying the Qur'an. (This is in contrast to other historical manuscripts, which may easily have had interpolations) It is virtually impossible to find anyone who seriously argues that anything was added to the Qur'an after the time of the Prophet Muhammad.

For more information on the compilation of the Qur'an, you could consult Qur'anic Sciences by Abbas and Masuma Jaffer.

(From an Islamic theological perspective, the entire Qur'an is the word of God not specifically the Prophet, so technically this verse is seen as the word of God not the word of the Prophet; for the Prophet's style of speech, one could consult the hadith.)

As for Christianity itself... Certainly Christianity IS a world religion that is acknowledged as an existing religion in the Qur'an. There have been many interpretations of Christianity and ways that it is lived, and there were a number of sects in and around the Arabian Peninsula.

The Qur'an praises some aspects of Christianity and acknowledges it a religion of God, while at the same time it criticizes some beliefs or gives a different viewpoint. This is one of those differences and clearly it is a major theological difference, but it doesn't mean that Christianity as a whole has no truth or merit to it.

While the Qur'an teaches that all prophets before the time of Islam, including Jesus, taught the same message, it does not say that every religion that emerged was absolutely correct or identical. Even just considering Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, there are obviously major differences between them! Rather, the position of the Qur'an is that some people deviated from the teachings of their prophets or introduced incorrect beliefs or practices, and this is why there is variance in religions.

Every verse in Quran was revealed on the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) and he conveyed it exactly as it was revealed. The Prophet is infallible and he is the most truthful person. Whatever he conveyed was from Allah with out any doubt.

Jesus was never killed nor crucified by his enemies who did try to commit that crimes, but they failed because Allah (SWT) made the person who informed the enemies of Jesus to catch and kill him, Allah made him look like Jesus in shape, and saved Jesus and raised him to the sky. The enemies of Jesus killed and crucified that person (the informer) not Jesus.

This fact does not harm the validity of the real teachings of Christianity which in fact never said that Jesus was crucified, but it does invalidate the false claims of the enemies of Jesus.
