One of the transmitters of hadith, Jabalah was the daughter of al-Masaffah (or Masabbah) al-'Amiri.

She related traditions from Imam 'Ali ('a) by way of her father and from Abu­Dharr by way of Hatib. It has been said that she had seen the Messenger of God (S).1 Al-Fudayl Ibn Marzuq and Muhammad Ibn Musa al-'Anbari al-Kufi have related traditions from her.
