Mut'ah marriage was mentioned in Quran (4: 24) and many authentic Hadeeths in Sunni and Shia books of Hadeeth. It was practiced by the believers and was encouraged by the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) and the Infallible Imams (AS). This fact is recorded in authentic Hadeethes in Sunni books as well as Shia books. This is enough evidence for those who want to follow the Prophet (SAWA).
Usually Mut'ah marriage is not done in public as there is no compulsory condition to announce it.
Sunni books mention breastfeeding the adult ( woman breastfeeding a man who is non Mahram to her to make him able to see her with out Hijab) and claim it allowed , but can they prove that it was done by Abu Bakr, Omar or Othman?

In our Shi'ah fiqh, it is not obligatory nor a condition for there to be any witnesses during a marriage contract.
However, it is advisable and recommended for marriage to be conducted in the presence of others, and for the Nikah to be publicised and announced.

The Iddah ( waiting period) for divorced woman is three menstrual periods or three months. If she is pregnant, her Iddah will last till the delivery of the child.
If the woman was divorced before any sexual intercourse took place between her and her husband, then No Iddah on her because marriage was never consummated.
If the woman is old and she has no menstrual period , then there no Iddah of divorce on her.

Mut'ah (temporary marriage) is a type of marriage in Islam, mentioned in Quran (Sura An Nisaa', verse 24).
Marriage contract (whether permanent or temporary) does not require witness, though it is recommended.
Mut'ah aims to save people from falling in sexual sinful acts.
Mut'ah should not be misused and should never be cause of hurting the feelings of your wife or children.
Mut'ah marriage can be only done with Muslim woman or a woman from Ahl al-Kitab, but in this case of Ahl Kitab, it needs the permission of your Muslim wife. This is according to the Fatwa of many leading scholars.

It is not necessary for a man to seek permission from his guardians in any type marriage.
It is very good to take advice from the guardians and those who have experience in life not to fall in to big mistakes.
It is very important to keep the respect of the parents in any matter and they should not feel disrespected by acts of their children.

Thank you for your question. I would recommend that you contact the office of your Marja with the specifics of your case. Although the usual ruling is that it is not allowed (and this will be applicable in most circumstances and is also the applicable rule according to the limited information you have given here), there have been exceptions for when the woman who has become pregnant in a mutah marriage is allowed to abort before 4 months when the difficulty she would face from being accused would have been too much for her to bear and there is absolutely no other way that an abortion can be avoided (like traveling to another place and having the baby). I am posting the ruling from the office of Sayyid Sistani (hA) below which is in Arabic for further reference:

No, it is not allowed, and both parties must be responsible towards the pregnancy and their child. This is the least of moral commitment the man has towards her and their baby as well.

Mut'ah aims to protect people from sinful sexual acts. This is the noble cause of Mut'ah. Mut'ah does not aim allowing playing mischief. Having more than one wife is allowed in Islam as far as the man is able to practice justice between all of his wives. If he is not able to practice the justice, then just one wife.
