The Quran is used to guide people through real-life events. Why did that process stop, especially when today’s world needs guidance just as much? Especially since Imam Mahdi is in occultation, how are we meant to receive guidance today?

This is a big question and one that many people may have different answers on.

In my view, we have to have faith that we received what is necessary for us via the Qur'an and hadith, and ethical principles stated in them, and that we are meant to put forward effort to try to deduce the right answers for our time. This is part of our test and struggle as individuals and as a human race.

We still receive spiritual guidance from Imam Mahdi (A) and of course from Allah, even if it is not in the form of texts.  
Is it allowed to be employed by companies like TikTok that have both beneficial and harmful effects on society, particularly if the negative aspects seem to outweigh the positive?

It is not permissible for a Muslim to help promoting harmful ideas of behavior in any way. Income from unlawful work is also unlawful money.

As a Shia Muslim, I want to encourage two close friends to pray Salah, but they doubt its importance in daily life. What are effective ways to convey the benefits of Salah for both this world and the hereafter?

Every Muslim who believes in Allah (SWT) will clearly understand from Quran the great importance of praying Salah. Allah (SWT) Says in Sura Al-Room: Estabkish Salah and don't be from the polytheists (Mushrikeen) (Verse 31). Those who don't perform Salah are like the Mushrikeen. The Prophetic Hadeeth says: The difference between us (Muslims) and non Muslims is Salah, anyone who leaves Salah becomes like them.

Salah is the main link between human being and his Creator Allah which must be performed as Allah (SWT) Has ordered as an obligatory worship to remember Allah (SWT) as He Said in Quran (And establish Salah to remember Me) (Sura Taha, verse 14). Those who ignore Salah are ignoring Allah's order and disrespecting Him like telling Him: We have no time to talk to you !!!

Salah is like the Oxygen for our hearts and souls and minds and we can never live a peaceful life with out Salah which is the compulsory link between us and our Clreator Allah (SWT).

There are many Quranic verse and hundreds of Hadeeths about Salah which can help guiding Muslims to the crucial importance of Salah.

This life is our only chance to do good deeds and worship Allah and enjoy loving Allah and serving His creatures. The Hadeeth says: Living in this life adds on the believer more bounties. The desire to leave this life should never be because of losing hope from the Mercy of Allah (SWT) as it us one of major sins which leads to hellfire. We always need to trust and hope The Great Mercy of Allah and never feel hopeless no matter what difficulties we face or fear to face.

We have in the Hadeeth that if someone is very tired in this life and wishes to leave it, he should pray saying : O Allah, keep me in this life as far as remains in this life is good for me, or take me from this life whenever You Know that leaving this life is better for me.
