In this case, ghusl janabah would only become wajib if she reached climax, and has nothing to do with releasing bodily fluids.

The Ghusl is valid but he has done a sin letting the prayer become Qadha.

Once you've done your ghusl, and there is no najasah substance anywhere there, then wherever the water has reached, it would be considered tahir. With wearing slippers inside the bathroom, it has the same scenariou. As long as there is no najasah substance, and there was flowing of water, it would be tahir.
