Why are there some views regarding Jews in the Quran that do not seem to be held by mainstream Jews today, such as Uzair (AS) being the son of God?

Those who claim that Uzair is son of God are condemned in Quran as those who claim that Maseeh (Jesus) is son of God.

Jews have many different sects and divisions in faith and we don't condemn but only those who went away from the real message of Torah and adverse stand against any prophet.

We read in Quran about the People of Book ( Not all of them are alike, a community from the People of Book stand for the right, they recite the Verses of Allah in parts of the night during prostrating to God. (Sura 3, Verse 113).

Allah (SWT) tells us in Quran to call the People of Book for common word between us and them (Say: O People of Bok, come to a common word between us and you, that we worship none but Allah and we do never associate any partner with Him) (3: 64)

Is it mandatory to have Wudu while attending an online Quran class where we don't physically touch the printed text?

It is not obligatory to perform Wudhu if you are not touching the real Quranic text. It is always recommended to be with Wudhu when you recite Quran and even all the time.

Is there any rule in Islam on marrying somebody out of caste? Is there anything in the Quran to say you have to marry within your own caste?

We don’t have any caste system in Islam. People’s characters and merits are determined by their piety. 

Some people are unfortunately inflicted by Hindu ideas and try to introduce this into our community by saying things such as a Sayeda or alawiyah woman, can only marry a Sayed. We also have those who refuse to let their daughters marry people from the opposite race: sometimes a person is of the same race yet it still  isn’t enough as they are not from their city or village! 

None of this is from Islam. 

“O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honourable of you with Allah is the one who has At-Taqwa(piety)” (49:13)

What should we say to people who claim that the term Shia means a sect in Islam and that the Qur'an has forbidden all sects?

Such claims come from those who try to play mischief with the meanings of Quranic verses. Shia Islam is not a sect but the real following of the Prophet and his Progeny. Allah (SWT) has granted His prophet Ebrahim (AS) with the title of Shia in Quran (Sura Al-Saffaat: 83).وان من شيعته لابراهيم 

Allah (SWT) called the followers of the prophets as his Shia as we read when a follower of Moosa (AS) was in conflict with one of his enemy

هذا من شيعته وهذا من عدوه

فاستغاثه الذي من شيعته على الذي من عدوه (Sura Al-Qasas: 15).

Shia of Ali (AS) are the followers of Ali (AS) who are in fact the real followers of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA). The most pious companions of the Prophet (SAWA) were called Shia of Ali like Salman, Abu Tharr, Ammar, Miqdad and others. That is why you find many Hadeeths in Sunni books from the Prophet praising the Shia and saying that they will be in Paradise (Al-Haafidh Al-Tabaraani in Al-Mu'jam Al-Kabeer 1:320) and (Al-Haythami in Majma' Al-Zawaa'id 9:131) and (Jawaahir Al-'qdain by al-Samhoodi 294) and (Kanz al-Ommal 12:104) and Al-Salihi al-Shaami in Sobol Al-Hoda Wal Rashaad 7:11).

There are also many Hadeeths in Sunni books that Shia of Ali are the best of all creatures.  In Tafseer al-Tabari 30:335 a Hadeeth narrated from the Prophet (SAWA) : Ali and his Shia are the best of all creatures.

Same Hadeeth ( Ali and his Shia are the best of all creatures) is also narrated by Al-Haakim Al-Hasakaani in Shawaahid Al-Tanzeel 2:353 and Soyooti in Al-Durr Al-Manthoor 6:376.
