Homosexual behavior is common among animals, so why does the Quran forbid it for humans?

This is interestingly a "new research", accommodating to today's popular trend.

Cannibalism is also common among animals, even their own babies. A lot of animals eat their own excrement, or self-mutilate, chewing off their own limbs. Some animals kill their partner, once mating season is finished.

A lot of animals are monogamous for life. There are animals that can change sex, or are two-sexed, and there are animals that don't need to mate to reproduce.

The point here is that the argument of comparing human behaviour to animals is a very weak argument, and does not justify anything.

Is it permissible for me to work on cadavers and spend time at the morgue as part of my research, considering that I can choose to change my topic or area?

Working in any scientific field is permissible as far as it helps people in general. Working in any field needs Muslim to avoid unlawful acts. Working on cadavers needs you to respect all the human beings and never cut any part from a dead body of a Muslim.

Do financially stable adults need to perform Qurbani every year, or is it a one-time obligation like Hajj?

It is not wajib to perform a sacrifice yearly, unless you have done an oath for that. Otherwise, the only wajib time is when doing your Hajj pilgrimage. Of course, it is a highly recommended act, especially on Eid al-Adhha, but not wajib, even if you are financially stable.

I have a stuffed animal that has been with me for 20 years, I have difficulty letting go of it and sleeping without it. Is it permissible to sleep with it or keep it in my room?

I think perhaps the question is about a cloth stuffed animal. Anyway, yes, it is ok to have a stuffed animal.
