Is is true that a Sayeda is forbidden from marrying a non Sayed? If so, what is the evidence for it?

Is it true that if Imam Sajjad (AS) had been martyred in Karbala there would have been no Sayyid in the world today? Are all Sadaat in the world only from the progeny of Imam Hussain (AS)?

Well, there are also a lot of descendants of Imam al-Hasan (A) especially in places like Morocco. It is recorded to have been said that if Imam al-Husayn (A) was killed, there would be no grandson of the Prophet (S) alive on the earth anymore, in the sense of the son of the daughter of the Prophet (S). This is true, as Imam Hasan (A) had already been martyred by that time.

However the line of the Imamate went through Imam al-Sajjad (A) so the line of the imamate would have been cut off in that way. 

Anyway, it is a good question and demonstrates excellent critical thinking skills!
How is a Sayed girl allowed to marry a non Sayed man when Sadqa is not allowed on Sayed but allowed for non Sayeds? Doesn't it make any difference that the Sayed girl is from the progeny of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)?

as salam alaikum

there is no relation between a Sayyid girl marrying a non-Sayyid man and the sadaqah that is not allowed on Sayyids. So it doesn't make any difference that a Sayyid girl is from the progeny of Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, in this regard. In Islam, Muslims are encouraged to marry a pious and religious people, committed to the Din in order to please Allah Almighty, be they Sayyids or not.

The black turban is the turban of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA). This fact is mentioned in both Shia and Sunni books.
The Sayyed Ulama wear black turban which is the turban of their great grand father, the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA).
