How can we counter the criticisms by non-Muslims about the content of Surah Nisa verse 34?

"Men are the managers of women, because of the advantage Allah has granted some of them over others, and by virtue of their spending out of their wealth. Righteous women are obedient and watchful in the absence [of their husbands] in guarding what Allah has enjoined [them] to guard. As for those [wives] whose misconduct you fear, [first] advise them, and [if ineffective] keep away from them in the bed, and [as the last resort] beat them. 1. The translation is not accurate at all and does not reflect the real meanings of the verse.

2. After having a real translation, you need to refer to the authentic Hadeeths from the Prophet (SAWA) and Ahlul Bayt (AS) explaining the verse.

3. Many non Muslims have deliberately tried to twist the meanings of Quranic verses for their own agenda.
4. After understanding the real meaning, bayou will see that the verse is guiding to the best.
