Question

I am to attend compulsory military service and the month of Ramdhan falls
within the period of my service.  Is it necessary for me to continue with my
fasting during this period or can I make my fast qadha or do I HAVE TO MAKE MY
FAST QADHA?

Answer

You will have to observe fasting during military training. You will have to
fast unless it is absolutely impossible for you to keep your fast (e.g
sickness, old age etc).  See Tawdhihu'l Masail pg. 314-315 for explanation of
people on whom fasting is not obligatory.
