QUESTION:

Salamun Alaikum.  

I would like to ask a religious question for a friend of mine.
His home town and work town are about 90 kilometers apart. 
 
This means that every day (5 days a week), he needs to travel this 
distance.  Can he fast when going to work?

Salaamun 'Alaykum,

Since your friend travels regularly to work, he will pray the full salat
and will fast everyday. See Ayatullah Khumayni's Tahriri al-Wasila
