Question:
Regarding Fish: I guess there is a hard condition offered by Ay. khooee
when the fish is bought from a non-muslim person. We should make sure
(Yagheen) that the fish is killed outside the water.
My question is: how can we find such Yaghin? Do we have to contact the
factory to ask them? or even we ask them is it enough for us? ...

Answer:
Yaqeen is a very subjective matter. If you are fully convinced by any source
that the fish died out of the water, then you should follow your conviction.
By looking at the fishing methods used during our time, it is almost certain
that the fish dies either in the net or outside the water. In both cases,
according to the late Ayatullah al-Khu`i, the fish is halal.
